Allana was first a part of Australia at Rugby Sevens back in 2013. Then, after suffering multiple knee injuries over the years, Allana switched to rugby union. Allana was the first woman to play in a match in the 2015 season of rugby league and starred for New South Wales in a match against Queensland. Allana also has radio in her profile, with frequent appearances on 2GB's top-rated Continuous Call Team. Allana has also earned a teaching qualification. Allana Ferguson is the only Australia player to represent Australia in both rugby sevens and the rugby league, as well as touch. Jillaroos' star Allana Ferguson has been forced to bring an early ending to her rugby league professional career following the tear of her ACL four times. Ferguson injured her ACL four times age 15, 17, and 20. After the fourth time she suffered the injury, her playing career was ended.
