Jacqueline Fernandez grew up in Bahrain, Manama. She is Sri Lankan and comes from a diverse ethnic background. After her 2006 Miss Sri Lanka win, Padukone stepped into the world of television and hosted a show about Sri Lankan businesses named Lanka Business Report. Padukone was the daughter of badminton player Prakash Padukone, was born in Copenhagen and grew up in Bangalore. In her teens, Padukone competed at the national badminton tournaments and international levels. She later quit the game to become a designer. Padukone has Mangalorean origins and speaks Konkani as her primary language. Padukone is a village located in Kundapura Taluk located in Udupi located in Karnataka State, India, is where her lineage is derived from. Prakash Padukone has retired as a world-renowned athlete in badminton Her mother, on the other hand, is also a travel agent.
