Alice Gainer

 Alice Gainer (born July 3 1982) is a American anchor, reporter and anchor for WCBS-TV as well as WLNY-TV, New York. Gainer served as anchor/reporter on News 12 New Jersey and WNYW Fox 5 in New York before she joined WCBS. The anchor has also been in News 12 Westchester, CNN, Fox News Channel and Fox Business Happy Hour.Gainer has graduated from Fordham University in 2004 with the degree of Communications: TV and Radio and an additional minor in Business Administration. She was the anchor of WFUV in Fordham, the NPR-affiliated radio station of the university. In Fordham she was awarded the Gracie Award for "Individual Excellence for Best Radio Anchor". The campus television station was her second job. After graduating Gainer worked for NPR WBGO, the affiliate of NPR WBGO radio and also for MetroNetworks WOR, WABC, and Air America Satellite Radio.Gainer has been awarded eight NY Emmy Awards for "Breaking/Spot News", "Crime News" as well as "Entertainment News" as well as other categories. Over 12 times she's been nominated in the categories of "LIVE reporter", "Spot News", Entertainment News, "Crime News" as well as "Health/Science". She was 25 years old and only two years of working as a television
